Godlove Wepnje

Dr. Wepnje will spend his fellowship year at Cameroon Baptist Convention Health Services (CBCHS) in Cameroon under the mentorship of Jodie Ann Dionne, MD, MSPH and Judith Kuoh Anchang-Kimbi, PhD. His research will focus on comparison of syndromic analysis, colposcopy and genital PCR in the diagnosis of female genital schistosomiasis (FGS) among adolescent girls and women of reproductive age in the Tiko endemic focus, Mount Came-roon area.
Dr. Wepnje is a lecturer in the Department of Medical Laboratory Science at the Saint Mon-ica University Higher Institute, Buea and a Research Associate working with the schistosomiasis research team at the University of Buea, Cameroon. He is a growing researcher and his research career goal is to improve the health of others and save lives, specifically, to improve clinical diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of female genital schistosomiasis in Cameroon and the sub region.
