Ciheb staff have an opportunity to take coursework at the UMB Graduate School to develop professionally or work toward the attainment of a degree. Staff can also participate in courses to obtain a Certificate in Clinical Research, a 12-credit program that can be completed in one year.

Through sponsored projects, Ciheb supports ministries of health and their counterparts in: a. the development of blended (eLearning, classroom, practical with follow-up mentorship) learning/curriculum to build quick capacity cost-effectively and quickly; b. team-based on-site training and mentorship to enable teamwork on specific cases or problems; and c. one-on-one mentorship to provide continued performance feedback and improve capacity.
